sam i love those photos... i shoot concerts as well when i can etc etc and i primarily use a EF 50 f1.4 but in the smaller venues when shooting in the pit it seems a bit too long.

im been debating on the 35 f1.4L and your photo with it is great... i need to check out the 85 f1.8 as well. one lens i like is the 135 f2 since it is very sharp wide open and i think it would make for some nice tight shots...

i need to pick something up before my next show so more than likely it wont be a 35 f1.4L since everyone is sold out of them!!
