Hey, I’m not trying to offend you so please don’t be offended by this. I recently placed this ad on a casting website. I’m trying to meet someone normal for a mutually beneficial “arrangement.â€? I recently got out of a long term relationship and the last thing I’m looking for is someone clingy and too attached. I work long, hard hours during the week and have custody of my 2yr old son on the weekends leaving me little to no time. I’m really not looking for any of the headaches, mind games, or drama of the conventional relationship. So far, everyone I’ve met was either addicted to drugs or looked like the stripper type, which I’m not looking for. I’ve had little luck finding someone. If you have any interest in this, just let me know.  Again, sorry if you’re taking this the wrong way.  Thanks.

Jimmy

Yea Ive gotten those too.  Weird.  they stopped when I moved out of Cali though, which Ie weirder because I didn't change my email.  the paragraph and everything is the same, just the name is different.  Got them once a month for about 9 months, then when I moved they stopped.

K R eepy!

I get some odd ones as well. I got one a while back on my other profile (photographer's...crappy yes, but I'm improving). Anyhow, it was from a guy who himself claimed to be a photographer, and he wanted me to take some photos of him...um..making himself happy. Tried claiming that he loved my work, and wanted me to photograph him. Um, first of all, the only thing I've photographed so far is children, animals and a self portrait...and I'm not the hottest coal in the bunch honestly....I just thought this guy's proposal was hilarious..yet disgusting at the same time.

Also, I've gotten a few of the e-mails from people claiming to be designers in like Africa or someplace, wanting me to go over there to model for them....after doing a check on it, I always find it's just some creep trying to find a mail-order bride or something...um, maybe these guys don't see the fact that I'm married...dunno. That, and the fact that I am big...then again, some guys like that I guess. again, dunno

Hello Klaudia,

I hope you had a wonderful St. Valentine's Day. I was gonna send you some flowers, but they were behind this really tall fence (I guess to keep the deer out (deer like eating flowers)), which of course I didn't have any trouble climbing over, but then this big German shepherd doggie came tearing around the corner of the house, and naturally the fence impeded my egress, so then my next idea was to send you some of the flowers that my roommate in the hospital had (he had tons, and anyhow what was he gonna do with them in his condition (he was deceased)), but the nurse caught me and they took all the flowers away (also the body) and then moved me to the basement, from which I'm typing this little note with the hand that isn't all bandaged up.

Now that you know how devoted I am, won't you please be my friend?

Ok that be all for now.

That's good advise however I dont even HAVE anykind of Chat.
There is no way I would venture down that path.

I guess when I log into Myspace once a week to see who has been sending me what a little graphic shows that I am currently logged in? There must be a way to deactivate that, though I don't know it.
NOTE - This is not an invitation to "chat" This means I am busy trying to go through my contacts as quickly and efficiently as possible. I can't believe people have time on their hands to send messages out to strangers for no reason at all or with lame objectives! They could be doing so much better things, like, type in forums !! Yes.

Soshanna, are you interested in coming to Miami if expenses., etc are covered? Please let me know & will send you an offer.

Sincerely,
Mick
_______________________________
My response: Can you please send more details? Thank you.
_______________________________
His response:

Soshanna, nice to hear back from you & now bear with me as I explain my offer...

I  am currently in Miami Beach relaxing before I depart for Europe almost
every month where I have apartments in London & Paris. Last year for the 4
months of Jan-July 2004 I flew over 100,000 miles and some of the locations
I have visited include UK, France, Spain, New Zealand, Africa, United Arab
Emirates, The Balkans & NY. Last summer I was in France, Italy,
Greece, Amsterdam & Germany....In Sept returned to Miami after 3 week trip
to Balkans &  London from ....In early Oct I spent 2 weeks in London again &
Dubai.....In Nov spent 10 days in Paris & The Balkans...Well you get the
idea?!.....Hope to spend time in Miami Beach assuming the hurricanes stay
away as meanwhile it is...sunny, warm....beautiful weather....

I find the experiences of different cultures, environments & dynamic situations
exciting & stimulating from both pleasure & growth perspectives.

I am approaching you since you might welcome these opportunities & experiences in your life.
If you are interested in my offer please provide your photos & personal data when you
respond. Knowledge of foreign language (s) will be a plus but not required.
HONESTY IS REQUIRED ON BOTH OUR PARTS. Activity could involve everything
from relaxing weekend on Miami Beach to international travel. I am a 42yo
handsome, single, white American gentleman (5'8",155lbs, hazel eyes & brown
hair) with an active life & seek a discrete, private & confidential young &
beautiful (inside & out) female travel companion to join ME from time to
time as it fits "our" schedules. I am not seeking prompt action and we
will get to know each other by email, then phone, etc well before ever meeting.

For the right girl this could be viewed as a paid vacation that could lead
to other opportunities ( I know many interesting people) & both parties MUST
treat the other with MUTUAL RESPECT! If you are not interested then perhaps
you have a girlfriend that might be interested & I am open to hearing from
her. Please understand that I realize that this approach is unusual and that
I am taking a risk. I extend this in good taste & I thank you for your time.
If you are interested please direct me to your photos, etc.
Meanwhile thanks for your time and open-minded attitude!

Good Lord! Not all this nonsense again!

I'm looking for an attractive female between the ages of 18-25 in need of financial assistance for college tuition, rent, bills, etc. I own a financial brokerage firm in OC and would be interested in hiring the right girl as an "outside sales consultant". You will be added to my company's payroll at $1000-$1500 every two weeks, wages depend on your availability. In return, I ask for maybe 2-3 hours of your time a week. Please, tell me about yourself, what times/days you will be available, your likes/dislikes, and attach a picture. I'm 28, fit, attractive.

Jimmy should have placed an ad on craigslist under erotic, lol

I did Jimmy Kimmel Live a while back and I was holding a stunt dog on the show.  They made the dog out to be mine.

I got a number of fan letters after the show.  For me the one that took the cake was the guy who asked if I could send him a picture of the dog with a paw print on the back.

Strange requests go with the business!

What did I do?  I am a singer/songwriter.  Jimmy Kimmel showcased my first album.

I sang a song titled "My Best Friend" which was, of courst about my dog.  He has passed away shortly before the show so they gave me a stunt dog to hold in his stead.

I would write more about it.  Being a featured guest on national TV was a lot of fun, but I don't want to hijack your thread.
