Unless your opening statement has to include a blurb about Megan's Law, there is nothing illegal about doing a shoot with a minor without her parents being present. Of course it depends on the style you'll be shooting, but that's for a different thread. Besides, you'll have the MUA there anyhow. What are you worried about?? looks like you missed the whole hilarity...

My god, i'm going to jail aren't I? yup, straight off to the drugstore for you, lubrication section, lol.

Just try to make sure you get into a federal prison and not a state run one.

As long as you were not waving your wienie errr I mean you wiener around in the air and if your MUA wasnt nekkid....you may not go to jail. And if your underage model wasnt spreading it....you may be OK....but why so much guilt???? You must have had lascivious thoughts while shooting ........you naughty boy

If she was below 17 i'd worry more - i had a shoot that way- mom dropped her off, we spoke for a bit, mom signed the release, then went to eat in a nearby restaurant while daughter and i went off to shoot. I dropped her off at mom a few hours later, no problems (she's the one holding to gas mask in my profile).

17?, aren't we professionals here ???, do you (OP) feel as thought you're not going to trust yourself alone with her ? if you have doubts, state it to the parent you prefer one of them stay during shoot, or have a assistant back you up if accusations are brought up, GEEEZE I feel your pain, I hate the way society pegs people (without cause) perverts !

Because that solves the problem of coming across as a pervert or the possibility of any perception of impropriety. Although I'm sure after advising the parents you're recording the session on webcam minimizes any chance the parents will be leaving...or that the shoot will proceed. You do inform the parents that you're recording they're child, right?

What's the issue here? 1) You don't trust yourself with a teenager? 2) You think you'll be in trouble despite having two other adults present? 3) You are guilty of something and thus project that onto every situation in your life? 4) You long for that special love a man can only find in jail and thus are looking for opportunities to get yourself in trouble? 5) You are a drama queen?

Have a release and be happy - that is all it takes. You have others present - so no sweat. Now, it would be different if you insisted the parents NOT KNOW

Wait - until you know which slammer you are headed for - you don't know which gang to throw in with - The guys that rule Tucker's yard - (by simple numbers) might be the drop-the-soap-bunnies at Stringfellow (where they got 3 guys) You got any special weaponmaking skills? No you won't get in trouble legally, I go to shoots with only my sister, and I'm 16. It works out, you just need to make sure that you have a release.
