Brooke Lynne MM# 435770 (my avatar)

I don't know if other people consider her famous, but her port is extremely accomplished, and she's worked with some of the best.  I was afraid that I would be nowhere near up to par, but she had her avatar as one of my images for a while, and I can't begin to explain how good that made me feel.

She's highly impressive, and I would recommend her to anybody.

Caroline Murphy when she first got to NYC--professional and friendly.
Mischa Barton and Lindsey Lohan (as child models)--both great child models.
Vanessa Paradis (aka Mrs Johnny Depp, Chanel model) when she was promoting her singing--brief shoot and I didn't really know who she was.
David Duchovney (who a was briefly a Calvin Klein model)--very nice, funny.

I guess Betcee May Mayhem #8001. She's steadily becoming more well known.

My experiences with her have been fantastic. She is a great model and a great person. Professional, creative, hard working, Very very intelligent, helpful, dedicated to her craft and passionate about her art.

Wenona, Mayhem #25021 is also very well known. Very similar experience as that with Betcee May.

My first shooting was with a fitness model Julian Fantechi (www.julian-fantechi.com), who triggered me to learn photography.

I never realized he was acting so well and fully understood my instructions, even if my photography was totally different from his usual style…

Worked with Nadia Auerman, Christi Turlington, Claudia Shiffer, Kristen McNenemy, Stephanie Seymor, Sylverster Stalone, Elton John, … while assisting with Richard Avedon in New York.

Would have loved to photograph any of them.

No one all that famous.

Probably Holley Dorrough (MM #8932) a couple of times. She was very nice, very professional both times.

I find myself avoiding higher profile models.  I don't know if I can articulate why that is (besides the fact that I can't afford them and they often won't do TFCD with someone at my level), except to say that the path of least resistance in creating images often involves using someone who is less well-known and more willing to take chances doing something risky to make something beautiful.

Though someday before she gets too old, I'd love to do an album cover for Bjork sometime. big_smile

Cindy Crawford.
I was working with her to start her career when she was 15. I met her on a newspaper assignment and she stood out from the rest right from the start! Beautiful, talented and smart, she took to it easily and was a pleasure to work with. I watched her meteoric rise to the top and felt glad that I had helped her get there. There are several pictures in my profile from those early shoots. Enjoy!

So is What’s Up Magazine a hard bound magazine or Webzine? I love your work but can’t find the magazine on any racks or news stands.
