Can anyone give me some advice on ways to try to style my own hair for shoots? It is short and straight as you can see and personally I am HORRIBLE at hair styles!!! ANy help is greatly appreciated.

Your hair looks great in your pics- very current. My answer (because I am a hairdresser by default- as are most MUAs) is Wigs! So much fun. And hair dresses- like flowers, headbands, even hats. Your hair is versitile too- you can make it look really short by pulling it back on the sides, or fluff it up and make it look full. The fun of photos is the fantasy- no one knows what the back of your head really looked like so you can have it all teased and pushed to the top of your head with clips- a mess in reality, but the photo comes out beautifully.
