2.  Watching sports at home on the Tele.

3.  Out at the Pub.

4.  Wanting to get Pissed/Drunk.

1.  Natural Light.

2.  New Castle

3.  Boddington's  (the best Beer EVER made!)

4.  Miller Lite

Rules and Adenda:  This is a Beer thread.  So you pansys that don't/can't drink beer stay off my thread.  There are plenty of Liquor threads out there.

If you list an exotic beer please detail where how you get it.  Maybe even who distributes it.

Be nice to the "Lite" beer drinkers.  Some of us are long distance drinkers...not sprinters.  Some of us are not "Beer Snobs" we are "Beer Sluts!"

Name the best beer for each situation:

1.  98 degrees out, and mowing the grass.
- German Hefeweizen with a lemon, but not working, just sitting in the shadow and chilling!

2.  Watching sports at home on the Tele.
- Bittburger or Warsteiner

3.  Out at the Pub.
- Bittburger or Warsteiner (or Sam Adams if they don't have real beer)

4.  Wanting to get Pissed/Drunk.
- Couple of shots of Tanqueray Sterling Vodka, chased with Bittburger or Warsteiner, or if there's no real beer and you are desperate, any American beer may do)

Sorry, grew up in Germany, the land of the Reinheitsgebot (Law of Purity of Beer) from the year 1516 AD, before you had the additives invented.

I agree.. beer in any high temperatures while doing yardwork or something forget it.. I've had one bottle while doing yardwork last summer... Forget it.. I was ready to pass out in my driveway... I ran in and got a big gallon jug of ice I keep in the freezer to let it defrost so I'd have cold water constantly outside.

2. Sprecher Amber
(It's a really great local regional beer. It isn't even their best. Their Abbey Triple ROCKS, but is too heavy to sit and drink all afternoon.) http://www.sprecherbrewery.com/
3. Guinness (but only if it is cold and on tap). If I am forced to drink bottled, then Ayinger Celebrator Dobblebock.
4. Milwaukee's Best. It's not bad and dirt cheap. Fifteen years ago it would have been Schlitz. Ah, those were the days. . .

Maybe you should define beer.  Are we talking about yellow fizzy stuff you can see through, or real beer with body and a head?

4. A pint of Anchor Brewing's Old Foghorn (a barleywine somewhere around 9-11 proof depending on the year) Available at stores with larger selections of beer (such as BevMo).

Let's face facts... American commercial beer is like having sex in a canoe... It's F**KING close to water.
