What are "Erics"?
I have just joined and have seen that term used, obviously in reference to less-than-desireable individuals. Does it have anything to do with the Monty Python Spam skit, as I think there was a Viking named Eric? As a word, "Eric" has 2 meanings that I am aware of. 1. An old Irish noun. A recompense formerly given by a murderer to the relatives of the murdered person. 2. A noun meaning the rope surrounding a medieval jousting field. As a name, it means, "Ever Ruler" or "Eternal Ruler." As you can see, all these meanings involve combat/violence and domination.
