I have just joined and have seen that term used, obviously in reference to less-than-desireable individuals.

Does it have anything to do with the Monty Python Spam skit, as I think there was a Viking named Eric?

nah, it's not nearly as funny as python, there were a couple of photogs named eric who were accused of do some pretty crappy things.  it has become the model mayhem equivalent of a bad guy, eric=loser...

I know at least one good Eric. I don't know if he is an MM member...

Have any other Erics ever complained about this?

They are all bastards. Don't trust ANY of them.

As a word, "Eric" has 2 meanings that I am aware of.

1. An old Irish noun. A recompense formerly given by a murderer to the relatives of the murdered person.

2. A noun meaning the rope surrounding a medieval jousting field.

As a name, it means, "Ever Ruler" or "Eternal Ruler."

As you can see, all these meanings involve combat/violence and domination. Clearly this means all Erics are hot, sexy, strong and a little bit dangerous.

Chicks dig that shit.

Yeah.

Bastards.

I want to change my name to Eric Jack D Trute.  Do I post in this section?  Or just cry like the rest.

Ohhhhhh, yeah. I love it when you get rough. Now put on this Yoda mask and scream, "WHO'S YOUR DADDY!?" while you pour this peach-yogurt on my buttcheeks ...

(looks around)

Um ... Was that too much information?
