You will need to explain what you did. That will help us figure out how to fix it. (Well not me I have to leave for work now)

I think firefox saves the bookmarks to a file named bookmark or bookmarks. Search for book*.* in windows explorer.

Did nothing.   It just disappeared which the help page says will happen sometimes because of a bug.   Using firefox mozilla 1.07.

It tells me to check in the library for the files but there is only one file in the library.  A Global.regs?   And not sure what that is.

computer are computers and I understand this so if lost then oh well but how do I stop this from happening again?

Edit.

On a mac.   I found the files in library/application support/firefox/

But having trouble figuring out how to transfer them.

Couldn't help myself.

I'd offer to help, but I'm on a MAC and use Safari. Real computers suck!

No doubt.  especially for me.

System restore,  I do not think this would work for it is not a major part of the system.
Using the help from them which seems to be working.   Found the files,  and upgrading to 1.5 and just need to figure out how to transfer the files to the new version which is confusing to me at this time.
