True Blood *HBO Series*
Anna Adrielle wrote: True .. the last outfit what there was to it .. was beautiful Aug 08 12 07:02 pm Link Sorry for being MIA... holy hell. I can't believe there is only one episode left There is so much going down. I feel like the last few episodes have really been good and have set us up for a lot. I EFFING hate Bill now. I seriously think he is so weak for allowing this to happen to him. Aug 19 12 09:56 pm Link Seems like this whole Lillith thing is just a trick to get the camps to kill each other out of jealousy. Am I only one that feels the relationship between the sheriff and waitress what's-her-face is totally unnecessary? Aug 20 12 07:03 pm Link Little Queenie wrote: Well it's all about "nesting." They start to lose it after living with each other for an extended period of time. I get really annoyed always watching them in that damn temple or w/e it's called. I thought Lillith would have been a little bit more attractive. She didn't really make me go "wow," but she is very natural. Aug 20 12 07:28 pm Link I love the fact that Bill has gone bat shit crazy .. what a cruel streak that has emerged .. knocking the crap out of Jessica .. toying with her .. the real Bill is showing .. and it cannot be blamed on the blood .. everyone drank of the blood and did not go ape shit Aug 20 12 09:49 pm Link Has anyone else found this new season to be completely fucking boring? I love TB, but I have yet to be pulled in to ANY of the new storylines besides Alcide. I can't stand much more of the one dimensional borefest that is the Vampire Authority. More Jessica, por favor! She's so preeeeeeeeeeeetty. Aug 20 12 09:58 pm Link I am loving this season .. the vampire authorities days are numbered .. poor Jessica Aug 20 12 10:16 pm Link here's what I don't understand... so that blood of lillith thing was really just the blood of salome (when bill drank from salome, he got the same visions of lillith that he got after drinking "lillith's blood"). so why did salome have a vision of lillith as well? (the whole "I chose you" thing) Aug 21 12 12:37 am Link Becks wrote: I wouldn't say boring, but definitely a lot going on, and a bit messy... I'm guessing it's either going to be an insaney good finale that ties everything together, or it's going to be a step up to an amazing new season Aug 21 12 12:38 am Link Anna Adrielle wrote: Aug 21 12 03:39 am Link Anna Adrielle wrote: Hmmm, it might have looked in that scene like it was in fact the blood of Salome, but I think they have all been on one big high since they started to drink the blood of Lillith the first time, keeping to see her appearing to them here and there at random moments. Aug 21 12 04:40 am Link Gasoline Photography wrote: thanks, hadn't watched that one yet Aug 21 12 05:55 am Link Anna Adrielle wrote: I think she is this demon entity .. much like the maenid was in an earlier season .. she is pitting each and everyone of the council members against each other .. but I do wish someone would hose her ass down and take a weed wacker to her though Aug 21 12 06:34 am Link Luccia wrote: I know it may have something to do with the nesting but I think it's some sort of trick. Aug 21 12 09:17 am Link anyone else really frustrated about that last scene with the fairies and russell? I mean they are so many... wtf were they waiting for? Aug 21 12 01:10 pm Link Jynxie wrote: I'm sure you remember how quickly a vamp can kill someone. Even large groups in a matter of seconds. And they just saw their elder, the most power fairy of the group, get sucked dry. Aug 21 12 01:13 pm Link I'll still watch the show, but it's getting almost campy with all this very silly fairy crap. Sure, give them powers and all, but that dumb alt plane is really "Charmed" like. Aug 21 12 01:29 pm Link Anna Adrielle wrote: Seriously .. this Aug 21 12 07:01 pm Link Carlos Occidental wrote: The fae was an important part of the stories .. given they are not being handled all that well yet .. but it is better than when they first introduced them .. looked like a back lot from the old Star Trek show .. the fae storyline will come into it's own. Aug 21 12 07:04 pm Link This whole "Lilith" thing is starting to get old for me, as is all the ass kissing with the Authority. If this is what the next season is about I might stop watching. I DID however like the implication that the military has been getting ready for the eventuality that they'll have to fight vamps sooner or later. As a former Army officer who did a lot of contingency work, I promise you there'd be an entire portion of the Pentagon devoted to that... Aug 21 12 07:04 pm Link Jynxie wrote: I hope they can kill him while he's stoned on Fairy-juice !! Aug 21 12 07:05 pm Link p51 wrote: I got the impression that was a fake/setup/manipulation. Aug 21 12 07:06 pm Link I am hoping that Eric is the one that gets to kill him .. for his family. Aug 21 12 07:07 pm Link Jennifer Barker wrote: Showing his true colors? say whaaa??! The Bill we've known has always been sympathetic to humans and in fact loves them. Are we talking when he was made by his maker? How she taught him that humans were nothing but food? I feel like we haven't gotten a lot of Bill's back story of when he was made. Aug 21 12 09:50 pm Link Becks wrote: You're like the 3rd person who has said that and I don't think it's boring at all. There is a lot more explanation and stories being told, which was lacking in last season. They all tend to unveil everything when necessary. Aug 21 12 09:52 pm Link Anna Adrielle wrote: She annoys the crap out of me. She doesn't seem to actually talk to them, but rather chant to them as to what they are to do. She just always seemed like a vision and not really there. I can't really explain it that well... Aug 21 12 09:55 pm Link Little Queenie wrote: It most definitely is a trick, but the nesting makes a lot of sense as to why they're all tripping balls. Eric and his sister snapped out of it the moment their maker appeared to them. I feel that if the others had something like that happen to them then they'd snap out of it. Aug 21 12 09:57 pm Link Jynxie wrote: I didn't understand how the lead fairy died so easily. That bugged the crap out of me. He was also vulnerable while feeding on her so they should have all jumped out and shot him with light. Aug 21 12 09:59 pm Link Jennifer Barker wrote: +100 Aug 21 12 09:59 pm Link Oh and on a side note .. Eric or Alex is doing very well for himself http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zPEK5a0xKU Aug 21 12 11:50 pm Link For some reason the thing that bugs me the most is the inconsistency of the power of a vampire depending on his age. One second they make it seem like a newer vampire has no chance against an older one and then the next thing we see is a 100 year old vampire easily kill a 1000+ year old one. Also don't vampires know how easy it is to kill them? Why do they think they have a chance when they can't even be wounded. Every shot from a wooden bullet is instant death. Not to mention that day problem where they can't even stay up in the dark. They have to sleep or they die or something. Still a fun show though. Aug 22 12 02:01 pm Link Luccia wrote: Isn't Russell the oldest vampire on the planet, and therefore his powers/speed would be the strongest? Aug 22 12 02:07 pm Link Jennifer Barker wrote: that was awesome. Aug 22 12 08:34 pm Link Dan K Photography wrote: I definitely agree with the power thing. It is very inconsistent. I also agree how easy it is to kill them. I don't like that if they get hit with a wooden bullet they instantly die. I was always under the impression that it had to directly pierce their heart. Maybe it's just because they're out in the open so containing them/killing them is just as easy as a human. Aug 22 12 08:37 pm Link DougBPhoto wrote: He is, but fae are also extremely powerful beings and should have much stronger powers. Especially her since Sookie's small light ray could do damage and she is only part fae. Aug 22 12 08:38 pm Link Luccia wrote: Yeah, but wasn't it said that fae had lost her ability to focus and concentrate? Aug 22 12 09:09 pm Link DougBPhoto wrote: Good point, but I still think in a high pressure/life threatening situation like that she would be more on point.. *shrugs* if only we could ask the writer/producer these questions haha Aug 22 12 10:20 pm Link Jennifer Barker wrote: I love hoow serious you take this program, even though it's all fiction :p. Aug 23 12 04:51 am Link Dan K Photography wrote: I'm trying to figure out the flying thing. why don't they just fly all the time??? why even bother walking or running when you can fly, seriously? Aug 23 12 04:53 am Link Luccia wrote: how about the whole scene where sookie used a chopstick from the chinese takeout to stake a vampire ? I mean, is that even possible? My chopsticks break if I squeeze them too hard... If I'd try to stab someone in the neck with it they'd probably walk away with a bruise and maybe a splinter. Are american chopsticks different :p?
