is there an element of pimpin' (or pimping for those who have problems with that missing "g") within the photographer-modeling relationship/culture?

When models sign deals with "internet agents" as I like to call them, I do think there is pimpin' going on...

But in general, no... It's more like may the best hustla win...

Nope... that's not what I am saying...

What I am saying is if a model signs a deal (non-exclusive or exclusive) with someone who claims they can get her work, but the only work the model gets is work she could get herself by checking craigslist every once and awhile, then she is being pimped.... I say this because I've seen it happen...

Now in general...
I do think the model-photog relationship is a hustle, especially when it comes to tfp/cd. Who needs who the most? That depends on who YOU are and WHAT you need... May the best huslte win...
