Ok, I'm doing a school research project on pin up photography and am having a hell of a time trying to locate anything on photographers or the photography 'style'. Does anyone have any resources I can take advantage of?

Run a search for Vargas.  There will be tons of stuff about him all over the internet.

Google pinup and there's a ton of info out there including a few online retailers... I've been doing some more myself lately, I have some on my port and will be adding more...

The original pinups weren't photos, but drawings. There is book called "The Great American Pin-up " or something similar. It has a fair bit of history in it as well as a wide variety of the original artists. As far as more modern photographers, there are tons out there, but one of my favorites is Viva Van Story. I think she is on MM, but you can google Vivas pinups as well.
