Ditto, my husband (seen in photos above) is 35, and though I'm just 25, we first connected by talking about all the bands we loved...Christian Death, Switchblade Symphony, Thrill Kill Kult, 45 Grave, Bauhaus...the list goes on.

i've been spinning for a long time, professional events for 13 years and i do the amateur / goth club stuff on the side 'cause i love it.
i make my living doing alternative (gay, goth, green, gaia) weddings (will travel anywhere) and cool corporate events, stuff like that.
clubwise, i was resident the visionary of Haven for the last 7 years, used to play at ManRay, a bunch of NYC and Salem parties, music festivals, toured the northeast third of the US and some of europe.
it's what i do. i've dj'd for celebrities, and i've had a couple of strip club gigs, too. all kinds of stuff.
i'm also a musician, my single "Could It Be?" was top ten on the myspace indie charts in the "goth" and "glam" categories in 2006 and has packed floors for goth/industrial/synthpop djs from FL to Montreal to Seattle to LA to Germany to Bulgaria to London to Japan.

Ah yes, we're close friends with Spider. And as for Purgatory (was the Charlotte party you spoke of, she was resident there for years), Sean is a regular guest DJ there -- though we shall see once it shuts down in April. Right now, he mostly spins events in Atlanta and our regular night (which he started) here in Augusta.

And Manray, Sean and I have clubbed there while visiting his family in Mass.! That said, we'd love to have to as a guest DJ -- the best one we had thus far was DJ Rex from London -- but we love to have guest come from all over. The pay isn't huge, but there's always a nice, free place to stay and all the beer you can guzzle.

Yeah, we met as a Misfits show when I was 16 (he was 25, we're 9.5 years apart). We went about 2 weeks without mentioning age (he thought I was about 20-22, I thought he was around the same -- 21 or 22), but when it came out, it didn't matter. We literally fell in love the first night we met. 9.5 years together (married 1) and still going strong!
