Met art/fem joy photographers
How does one go about finding photographers for these sites so one can do a shoot and have them submit sets? Dec 03 08 05:50 pm Link *Akara* wrote: Just curious, but what is the allure for a model to appear on the MetArt website? The pay sucks. The site seems to specialize in labia peeled open like an oyster on the half shell. I'm not aware of any model who has used it as a stepping stone to better jobs. Dec 03 08 09:53 pm Link I swear, sometimes I think people outside of Louisiana are incapable of appreciating oysters... Dec 03 08 10:56 pm Link Generally speaking, Met-Art primarily accepts work from a handful of European photographers. Not that they do not take American photographer and models, it is just pretty rare. Given this, I would be careful answering any MM castings for "Met-Art" sets. It is kind of like the new "I shoot for playboy." However, you may be able to find someone who will shoot you for Femjoy. Have you considered Zivity as an option? Granted you won't get paid right away and the pay might still suck depending on the votes, but its a paycheck while you do other things. Dec 03 08 10:58 pm Link I've actually been thinking about trying a set for met-art with a model, but don't really see anyone in my area that'd fit. Dec 03 08 11:00 pm Link Looks like a soft-core porn site. But, whatever floats your boat. Dec 03 08 11:02 pm Link I know a photographer that regularly sells work to Met, including some of mine I've been told. PM me if you want more details...its not all cotton candy, though. Dec 04 08 10:52 am Link At one time, Met Art used a lot of VERY young Eastern European models. By very young, I mean in the 14-17 age bracket. Today they stick with over 18 models, but they still want that teenager look. While I wouldn't say that the pay "sucks" it isn't THAT good. Dec 04 08 11:53 am Link Is this not better suited for General Mayhem? Dec 04 08 12:03 pm Link Stella K wrote: Mayhaps it's due to them going more mainstream due to the demand of the content that has changed the quality. I'd also wager that the age thing changed too since it's illegal to view nude minors in that context here in the States for those that like to view the website. Yes, the models are 18 and over. I didn't know that the site use to shoot under 18. Talk about risky business over here. Dec 04 08 01:57 pm Link Jim Ball wrote: Thanks for my new quote!
