I was just curious as to what the difference in application is for regular photoshoot makeup and makeup that will be filmed/broadcast on HDtv.  Any responses are welcome!

I worked on the "home shopping network" (don't laugh) and makeup for television is much the same as for straight photography, actually TV is alot more forgiving. HiDef is another story- not forgiving, so extra attention needs to be paid to priming the skin and pigmented foundation (on television it is alright to have a graeter ratio of reflective minerals, in fact I'd advise it for hidef). Is that an intelligable answer? Hope so.

High definition does not allow for a lot of traditional makeup 'quick fixes'. The flawless [and fast] coverage from airbrushed makeup has been the number one request.
