Usually when I am doing a large production shoot or stock work with models I make an effort to do some free advertising for my studio in the form of T-Shirt or Sweat Shirt with sayings or images of my work for them as a thanks for working with me. Example " I Was Shot In Detroit"(chalk outline of a body on the street), no I didn't kill anyone but it was a chat topic when the model or client wore the shirt..they would ask..of course I had the name of the studio & number on the t-shirt. Here is story that got a photographer a CD cover.....he left matchbox with his name & number at recording studios witht he saying " Such and Such Photographed me"..Bob Dylan say the matches and called the photographer to shoot his CD cover. So marketing yourself with humor can also be a tool to use. Also I hired a Mime to deliver my portfolio to ad agencies, it's thinking outside the box that sometimes can leave a last impression on those you want to work with or get work from
