Just dont panic when you are under, make sure to hold a calm expression ALWAYS, and let all the air out of your lungs to sink to the bottom.. apart from that, good luck and have fun!

Let me know how it goes... Im not sure if you mean you really are a water baby, let me know your water background, I only add Novice members if they have spent a good part of their lives in water...

Great advice. I was wondering about the sinking part...didn't want to be floatin all about...lol..

But yes I LOVE water, I love to swim...this is why summer is my fav season...

No real background, like being a life gaurd or anything...I just really love to swim..

Dear, no one is pretending to be water babies, all those who have been added are either water babies from birth or have spent nearly thier entire lives swimming, diving, synchronizing, and playing, dancing or doing acrobats in water...

The word "waterbaby" does not imply that they have to be born in water...

May I ask how long you have been swimming?

Lol of course I didn't mean that a water baby list would be a list of those who had underwater births.  I didn't know if people who hadn't actually done a shoot underwater would count.

I've been "swimming" (I put it in quotes because most of the time I was just diving underwater and swimming for fun/exploring underwear and pretend posing) my entire life.  I've been working on my actual form while swimming/swimming as a disciplined exercise for a year.

(You do not have to be a water baby from birth to be a TRUE water baby, just someone who has spent a good part of their life swimming and doing acrobats in the water, i.e. swimmer, diver, synchronize, dancer, acrobat, etc. PLS STATE YOUR WATER BACKGROUND WHEN REPLYING!)

- I really would love to find some water babies on MM... we are few and far in between...natural water babies have a gift that is very unique and I feel the need to discover who they are

- Ive seen so many models who are truly incredible above water but fail to be as graceful below water. I do understand that its all a matter of how your move (most UW models are dancers), if you can hold a calm expression and whether or not you can hold your breath for longer then 20 seconds without panicking.

- Models who spent time in the water most of their life are the ones who know how to move gracefully UW. My teammate Jennifer Victoria and I did the exact same thing while growing up, we both used to do crazy acrobats while swimming for the fun of it, never knowing that it would one day benefit us and our full time UW career. I have been swimming from before my first birthday and have never stopped... its like its my natural habitat..lol...

- It would be really nice to find water babies to keep in contact with, so if you are a water baby, let me know, and I will keep this list for when underwater photographers who are looking for new models to work with in future...

- Pls state if you are comfortable doing nudes or not.

- The title "Novice", implies the model has not yet done underwater work but is a natural water baby.

- The title "Experience", implies the model level is anywhere from beginner up to advanced, it means that the model has done at least ONE underwater shoot.

- The title "Professional", implies the model does UW work as a career/profession and/or on a regular basis. (pls inform me if you do this for a living, Im not psychic ... or am I...muahahhah )

- Show us your work! If you have done underwater work, show us you have, so we can see your progress... its fun to see a model grow

We may have different perceptions when it comes to the height of an underwater model. I am sure there are those who are tall and can move gracefully but they look much better when doing underwater fashion work, not nude art. Having taller models makes the poses look more stiff, but as I said, I am sure there are those few who are good underwater even being tall
