does anyone know what version of photoshop is the best?? 8.0? Jul 13 05 03:06 pm Link Photoshop CS2-version 9.0 Jul 13 05 03:10 pm Link do you know what a good price is for it? Jul 13 05 03:11 pm Link Any version you know best.. :-) Seriously, it depends on what your needs are.. I personally like the new bridge in CS2 aka 9 as well as the new RAW conversion capabilities. Conversly, Elements 3.0 may very well be enough depending on your needs. I would download the trials to see which suites your needs.. Hope that helps... Jul 13 05 03:13 pm Link CS 2 Upgrade is $150, don't know what the full version is going 4... Jul 13 05 03:14 pm Link there is really cheap prices on ebay right now for it., but some say its only selling the disc. is it a must to have the instruction manuel and be able to register online? Jul 13 05 03:17 pm Link No manual required, make sure you get a legit serial #!! Jul 13 05 03:20 pm Link If it's cheap on ebay and disc only, it's probably an illegal copy. The best legit price I've seen (for non-students) is $300, and that was a promotion to upgrade Photoshop Elements, which came free with a camera or scanner. If you want it legally, you'll have to pay significantly for it. Jul 13 05 03:25 pm Link however you can buy a copy of photoshop 5, and than 149.99 to upgrade that to 9.0, Jul 13 05 03:36 pm Link Do buy off E-bay for a stolen copy-it will come back and bite you! Jul 13 05 03:39 pm Link Posted by princesss4503: The best price I've seen for a legal copy is at Studentmarket.com, at $389 for CS 2 Cretive Suite Premium- $389. Jul 13 05 05:27 pm Link Did you really give them your student info and/or your drivers license info just to save a few hundred dollars? Jul 13 05 05:33 pm Link With all the money I've laid out for tuition in the last four years, I figure somebody somewhere owes me. My daughter got a student discount for my son's version of CS2 (my son's in middle school, and Adobe is just not willing to believe a middle school kid would use CS2 - but he's gonna be my processor in a year or two, if I can figure out the right incentives); my niece got one for my sister's version. If you're getting an upgrade through the student programs, you can get it down around $200-$300, and then spend the rest on the Nik Multimedia package of filters. Their contrast adjustment tools are worth the cost of the entire package. Jul 13 05 05:41 pm Link I didn't need to give them the drivers info, but they may ask for that. As far as my student info, they get a fax from school saying I am enrolled, nothing more. Also, it was for the premium edition, sells for around $1200, that saved me more than a "few hundred dollars" Also recommend the Nik multi media color programs, excellent plug-ins. Robert Jul 13 05 09:07 pm Link I have both CS and CS2. Both are good. CS2 isn't that much greater than CS. Jul 13 05 09:12 pm Link 6 is fine if you don't work on 12-bit images, convert from RAW, or use the healing brush. CS2 is good if you need multiple RAW conversions. Jul 13 05 09:15 pm Link |
