I'm bored. It was free. It sounded like a good idea at the time. And now I feel more entitled to complain about the width of my nose.

I guess this is building on that theory that humans judge attractiveness based on facial symmetry or something along those lines. I read about it long enough ago that the details have faded. Anyway. Thought it was interesting.

You're making a grumpy face in that picture!

I think the "poor horizontal symmetry" part might be somewhat to do with the picture not being completely straight-on and me having to BS the location of my left ear, but I also think I have a somewhat asymmetrical face (and I make asymmetrical expressions) so there's definitely some truth in it.

I wonder if it's actually on a 1-to-10 scale or if it's actually a 5-to-10 scale or something and they just say 1-to-10 to make people feel pretty.

I tried it.. It said my face has poor horizontal symmetry.. but I think that's because I wasn't very careful where I placed the dots. yikes

update: I didn't think to post a picture..

Grumpy face? That's my default expression. lol

I did have a pretty crappy last couple days, though. Might account for the extra brow furrow.

I got a 9.04, but my hair was down in the pic I used, couldn't place the dots correctly on my ears. Oh well.

lol

There isn't really any way to save the pic without using screencap software or the PRTSC feature. It'd make for much easier sharing if there was a "share your results" button rather than a "link to this site" button menu.

I really don't have pics where I'm looking 100% straight-on into the camera.  The first one was waaaaay tilted and I got like a 2.7 lol  the 2nd was a little more straight-on and I got an 8.4

I always turn my head a little or tilt it to the side.  I went to the Jim Morrison school of modlz.

Think it's as much about having your face perfectly aligned in the pic as anything.
