Peggy not Jess here.

My post was a mile long so I deleted it.
Photography doesn't become pornography.
There are too many different opinions to even decide anything like this.

Naked people are naked people, nomatter what they are doing.
Art, is in the eye of the beholder.
I have no problem with nudity. I just prefer not to have it pop up at random on my PC. If I want to view nudity, I'd prefer it to be by choice and in the context that I personally, am comfortable with.

throw this into the debate, look at the first four images in my port porn or art?

I was subcontracting for fetish "porn,"

Does my posting of Courbet's The Origin of the World break or circumvent's the MM rule that no nudity is to be posted in forums? That the rule is about nudity and not about what many of us might perceive as pornography is an interesting technicality.

I forget the thread, but I remember Theda asking someone (possibly you) not to post nudes in the fora exactly for that reason.  The rule (on MM) is about nudity, because they don't want the responsibility of deciding what is art and what is porn.

Don't mean to dwell, but can't sleep either.  So here.

The coment that b+w makes something an artistic nude is suspect.

I was just kidding about that.  Everything else I was serious.

How about Courbet? Now it is accepted as art. For a long time it wasn't.

Courbet rules....a rebel for sure.
He would be kicked off this site.   LOL!
If this shot was a photograph, it would be considered porn by many on here----

As a fine art photographer, I have always thought that the crossing of the line into Porn, was when sex started happening, with the models or model.

But it is like salt in soup. if you set three bowls of soup down in front of three people, and ask them if they want salt, one will reach for the salt, one will not, and one will say that the soup is already too salty.

Which person is correct about the soup??????
