The Smashbox FACE OFF has featured the talent of up-and-coming photographers for over 14 years. Originally conceived to give photo assistants a chance to show their work, the FACE OFF has evolved into a catalyst for young creatives seeking exposure. This year’s competition will assemble an eclectic panel of high-profile judges to select 50 entries that will be in contention for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place. The entries will be judged based on creative excellence alone and exhibited on December 3rd during our FACE OFF Opening Night Bash.

Smashbox has been at the epicenter of the west coast photo scene since the early 90’s, and is widely recognized as a creative taste-maker partnering only with the who’s who and what’s what in Hollywood. With locations and resources in every one of LA’s diverse nooks and crannies, Smashbox is able to routinely promote and nurture the arts community.
