I'm sorry but I have to agree on the "meh" factor for this one. The image does not seem to hold much impact and the lighting seems a bit flat to give your subject a sense of presence in the image. You could try it in black and white and punch up the contrast a bit, but other than that I'm not sure I would use it for a portfolio image honestly. goodluck
