I love a good challenge! I'm definitely seeing a lot of sci-fi themes here, so something along those lines (I'm sorry I can't pick an exact writer/book!)

Even though its a graphic novel your portfolio reminds me of the Sandman Series by Neil Gaiman! I love the imagery in your portfolio!
