Well, not really. I just wanted to say that. haha

I wanted a critique on my newest edit. It's really only the second edit I've ever done on a photo of a male.
Any feedback would be great. Thanks!

Yes. I noticed after posting what you're saying about the chin.
How would you suggest going about sharper skin? I also am not sure of what you mean when you say "HP sucks is your friend". sad haha

your probably gonna like slap me, but I really like the original. I know I know!! I like the eyebrows and the awesome cheekbones (yes so I'm female and single sue me! lol ) and stuff. If I were you I'd clean up the skin, remove the spots and just do some d&b to even it out. He has good skin texture so don't blur it at all. The lighting is perfect and its such a great shot.

Ehh, did you blur the skin? Males are supposed to have rougher skin and skin texture kept- with minor retouching and good amount of contouring but this contouring looks fake.

You mean those emo guys, sorry, but that's the word they use haha they are pretty famous at high end guys with softer looks- I happen to be one of them too though lol big_smile

How about using some adding some noise and fade the opacity to taste and then do a spatial frequency separation?
