You're getting there!  Still need practice.  The texture around her jaw line and the texture on her cheek needs some more work.  I just don't think you're finished yet. smile

here's a few trick when doing D&B...use black & white adj. layer, then increase contrast by moving the red down. maybe, it helps seeing where light, dark, or rough area are.

You could also just use a steep curve and a Hue/Sat layer at -100 Saturation (in Saturation blend mode) - this can be modified so that you get maximum contrast in each of the shadows, mids, and highlights.

I so envy you photoshop people.

I need a good book, or web tutorial.

I know just enough about photoshop to screw things up.

Looking good!  I still think it needs a WEEEEE bit more work around the jaw line and in the shaddow of her cheekbone.  If you're having trouble seeing the texture of the skin, these tutorials should help you....

1.) http://hugglemistress.deviantart.com/fa … /#/d1ocpfv

2.) http://everythingsmagic.deviantart.com/ … ime&qo=127

Once the texture is done, I think the color needs some work as well.  Example...her body is much darker than her face...I would fix that. smile
