Okay, so I'm going to try this again...

First off, I'd like to apologize for starting a thread in this forum entitled "glamour photos retouch" which had 18+ photos in it, that should have been flagged/linked vs. posted. That was my mistake, and I have nobody to blame but myself. I am truly sorry to everyone, especially all the hard working wizards who completed edits that can't be displayed for all to see. Hopefully you can forgive me.

Now, I'd like to try another post. I've got these killer photos from a summer shoot in Pittsburgh, PA with the gorgeous Shannon (MM #1568192). I'm very curious to see what all you creative and talented wizards can do with these photos that have some potential. Please PM or email me at [email protected] for high res copies of these photos. Have fun and I look forward to seeing your results!

Sincerely,

Aaron Downing

Im not sure why nobody has noticed the big burn mark on the models face? Nobody that has edited any of these photos has even made the attempt to get rid of the burn. They have just made it worse in Photoshop. And every shot that was taken of this model was right where this burn is. Thats something you dont leave on a models face in a edit.

I assumed that was make-up for effect...  no?

It is make-up... and it is somewhat for effect. I'd really like to see someone try to attempt smoothing it out to look a little more uniform. Just a suggestion.

here is mine. keep in mind this is my FIRST edit that I have done. I just got photoshop a couple days ago and I didn't really have any images that I felt like really editing. I am going to play with it some more and play with the others too. I have some good ideas just gotta work on them a couple more days. This is a very basic edit, eye brightened, tattoo brightened, overall photo sharpened etc. Let me know if anyone has some suggestions1

Hi and thank you for the photos, i received them this morning. This is the try on the first photo. I Loved the colors of her tattoos adn i went for a more vivid kind of look, but still natural. Retouched some minor shings at makeup and skin, she really has beautiful skin and features. Hope you enjoy smile

God No! You can see the up close shots of the burn..Looks like she burned herself..Put cream on it and went to the shoot. It was boiling in one of the shots..It was so close up you could see the skin seperation. she tried to cover it up with makeup. And in doing that caused it to look worse in her shoot here.

It kiiiiinda looks like a makeup stain.  And it follows the cheekbone. And the red makeup isn't helping much with removing it and not looking fake. I read the Photographer's comments on the photos and liked them as they were, i didn't see asking for the burn removal.

It looks like makeup  to me with glitter!!  I'm pretty sure that's intentional.
Why don't you just ask Aaron, the photographer?

Thank you Rose! Shannon is a very beautiful person, and doesn't have any burn mark on her face. Rose is correct when she says that it's makeup with glitter. We were trying to get a little fancy and have some fun with the makeup... she did a very nice job, but it does need a little help in photoshop. The bright colorful makeup is strictly for effect.
