Oct 05 10 04:24 am Link Could you please send me a link to your 3 raw images above Thanks Oct 05 10 07:42 am Link Daniel Meadows wrote: Excuse me but I was just being honest. I wasn't mad or patronizing, I just said I wasn't looking for that particular style. Also, I clearly mentioned that the photos are for individual portfolios and if I like them, I'm gonna request the full size. I haven't twisted anyone's arm into retouching them and I was just saying my opinion. What do you expect from me ? To say that I like them when I'm looking for something different ? Hope you understand. Oct 06 10 07:03 am Link westover imaging wrote: Can you tell me your email ? Thanks, Ljupco Oct 06 10 07:04 am Link Would love to use this on my port (here in MM and in facebook) I always credit and link back: Let me know if you want the hi-res file mailed to you And feel free to critique, I'm here to learn and improve. Oct 06 10 11:09 am Link From the DAR rulebook: "Contests and challenges belong here. Images provided for others to experiment with/on belong there. Note: This is NOT a âdo my work for freeâ forum." I put the bold there myself.....everybody needs a reminder now and then. People contributing images are free to offer feedback, of course. But when the dialogue takes on the tone of a client rejecting a proof submission from a hired editor, then that line gets close to being crossed. I will never submit an image then say 'Not good enough for my needs', 'not what I was looking for', etc nor would I do an edit for somebody who sounds like they are looking to get their 'work for free'. I am not intending to single out the OP, this happens far too frequently on this thread, and the mods should keep a tighter grip on things. People submit pics, PS guys play with them, submitter says 'cool', that's that. If you want to behave like a 'paying client', then be one...there are plenty of PS people who will do your work for scale. Oct 06 10 12:14 pm Link Beautiful Sundays wrote: Thank you! If I expect something else from a retouch, I don't nag people how it should be done, I'm "cool" with what they have done and they can keep the retouched file and use it in their portfolio as a "reward" for the time they spent processing the file.
