As others have said - I'd see it as an advantage as you don't have to crouch so much to get the best viewpoint for full length shots. I'm 6'1" and seem to spend an awful lot of my time either bent over or kneeling to get the most flattering viewpoint when I'm shooting full length in studio. Gets quite painful by the end of a full day's shoot.

Why would want to shoot at eye level?

Beauty shots normally.
I dont think there would ever be a reason to be eye level for fashion.

This.

I find myself on my knees most of the time.......  A perspective that has a tendency to lengthen the model.

If it's a beauty shot, why is the model standing?

::confused::

I, being 17 now, don't think I'm gettin' much taller than this.

I do use step-stools occasionally, but sometimes terrain becomes a drawback, what with living in hilly Tennessee.

I was just wondering if anyone had creative tips hehe~

Don't tip-toe, go down.
Worst mistake is take pictures too high.

Count your blessings. You cant make 1001st shot on MM where people shot from shoulder level and thus got enlarged forehead and shortened and distorted body.

Don't have a problem with that yet. I'm 5'4 and the tallest I've shot so far is 6'2. I'm kneeing most of the time when I shoot outdoors, or just lying flat on the ground.

I'm 6'1
that + high heels + a short photographer =  slightly awkward big_smile

one time, the photographer had to bring out a ladder to stand during the shoot...
