I'm a 40-something myself; I've got a 14 year old model daughter and I'm learning new things all the time.  I don't feel being 45 years old matters much when you're working with someone else who is being creative in their own way.  Loving your work is common to us all; it has to be or we wouldn't keep doing it all these years!
