Fantastic (albeit very long) day at Passe-A-Grill shooting maternity today. Overcast and a tad cool, no harsh light or shadows...absolutely beautiful. Helped that I was working with a young lady that could have been Reese Witherspoon's sister...yowza.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand....
That feeling when you feel that first breath of an extreme arctic front that is supposed to drop temperatures over 50 degrees the next 18 hours to below record low levels

Fuck winter!

Well the good thing about this year so far is that these cold bursts are only around for a day and its over quickly....unlike last year where it seemed to be stupidly chilly from mid Feb through almost late march

The short cold snaps don't have a chance to damage the water that badly, and if its a normal year the water will warm up quicker to shootable temps

If it's a normal year, why would it warm up quicker, instead of, say, normally?

Longer cold snaps chill the water for longer, temperature gets colder, takes longer for it to warm up to confortable shooting temps(also causes insanely strong sea breazes off the water at the beaches, making anything on the beach unshootable(to me at least)due to water/land temp differential)

Meanwhile in Saddlebrook..."Mommy, can I go out and play?" "Sure, Billy...just don't go far from the patio."

Ugh...people in these communities think it's cool to feed the gators. and then they lose their fear of humans. No bueno.
