What have the last three vehicles who've owned
Just curiosity driven. Post the last 3 you've owned. Mine, all are in the garage or driveway now. 2000 Chevy Suburban 2004 Jaguar X-Type 1997 Jaguar XK8 Convertible Feb 12 11 10:27 am Link I've only owned 2. My first was a '02 Subaru Forester. Now I own a '02 Subaru WRX Impreza which is way more fun than my old automatic. Feb 12 11 10:32 am Link '08 Kia Rondo '00 Nissan Sentra '96 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme After I pay off the Kia, I'm keeping it until I drive out the engine warranty(1,000,000 miles: not a typo) Feb 12 11 10:36 am Link I've also only owned 2. 2000 Saturn SL1 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab. I traded the Saturn in for the Dodge, and totaled the Dodge about a year and a half later. I miss my truck. We now just use my boyfriend's car, 2003 Mazda Protege. I may get my own vehicle this year, I don't know. We don't really have a need yet for 2 cars. Feb 12 11 10:37 am Link Traded an 06 HHR for the X-Type. I like the HHR but after a guy backed into it & they wouldn't fix it right just decided the hell with it. I'll never buy another new car after that. The XK8 I bought cheap & it's stupid fun! 150 with the top down is so flippin awesome! Feb 12 11 10:41 am Link 2010 Toyota Corolla Sport 1999 Toyota Camry -- sold for parts 1997 Toyota Camry -- gave to sister Feb 12 11 10:50 am Link volvo saab audi Feb 12 11 10:52 am Link San Diego MTS Bus San Diego MTS Tolley San Francisco Buses. I still use all of them at some point or another. Haven't owned a car yet Heck, I don't even know how to drive or have a drivers license Feb 12 11 10:55 am Link Haven't owned a car since 1988 1984 Toyota Celica Supra 1980 CJ7 1972 Jaguar E-type Feb 12 11 11:13 am Link Ford Fusion- Current car and I LOVE IT!!!! Jeep Cherokee-Needed the 4x4 when I live in Michigan. Electrical system problems! Honda Prelude-One sweet ride!! Got to about 150K miles and the engine was still sound. The interior was trashed from me using it as a grip van to carry big TK-76 video cameras and huge 3/4 inch U-Matic broadcast quality videotape recorders. As well as lights and mics and a grip kit and so on. Feb 12 11 11:20 am Link 1930 Chrysler Type 77 1950 2-Door Mercury Coupe 1963 Dodge Station Wagon still all living with me=0) Feb 12 11 11:25 am Link 1996 Subaru Impreza sedan, current vehicle. Runs good, paid for. 1985 BMW 535i 1986 Nissan Maxima sedan I like 4 door sedans, they are less expensive to insure and hold up to side impact better. Access to the rear seats is easier. They tend to be overlooked which is good when my guitars and amps are in the trunk, to say nothing of my photo gear. I don't invest any ego into a automobile, I just want to get there. Feb 12 11 11:35 am Link 2004 Honda Civic LX 1995 Toyota Tacoma 1980-ish Subaru sedan of some sort I miss having a pickup truck, because I often need to haul large items. It would make transporting my bicycle more convenient, and picking up treasures I find easier. I love having my front-wheel drive vehicles when I drive in snow and ice! My pickup truck always tried to fishtail when the streets were wet. Feb 12 11 11:40 am Link Ford E-350 Ford Explorer Ford Expedition Feb 12 11 11:42 am Link First car-88 Nissan Sentra (would never start, got rid of it) Second car- A 97 Saturn 2 door coupe (Totaled it) Third car- 07 Chevy Cobalt 4 door sedan (It is in the US) Right now, I have a bicycle. Feb 12 11 11:53 am Link Both Hondas. First car was a 96 Honda Accord, I miss it I now have a 99 Honda Accord. Feb 12 11 12:02 pm Link '83 S-10 Blazer (until 1997) '97 Cavalier (until 2007) '07 Cobalt Feb 12 11 01:27 pm Link Ford Thunderbird (forget the year) 98 Pontiac Grad Prix 03 Monte Carlo SS Feb 12 11 01:35 pm Link 1994 Pontiac Trans Am (Still Have) 1992 Cadillac Eldorado (Still Have) 2010 Nissan Murano (still Have) Feb 12 11 01:38 pm Link 1987 Toyota Camry, "The bitch that will not die." It is said, at our house, and it's true. "That if every other car here is dead, that damn Toyota will still run." After three years, and 30K miles, I have $800 in it, not counting gas, oil, and tires. It has 230K on it. 1986 Toyota Celica GT, FS16. The legenday Haichu Rokyu, IE: The Ultimate Drift Car. It would smoke the tires all the way through first gear, spin them halfway through second, bark, them in third, and was happiest when it was bumping the rev limiter. It would only do 105MPH, but got there very quick. I didn't know what I had when I bought it, but after doing all the mainetence on it, and installing a set of used tires, I sold it for four times what I paid for it. 1986 Mercedes Benz 300E, The highest HP to weight ratio Full Size Sedan, Benz made back then. 85, felt like 55, and it too was fun. My favorite thing was to pull up to rice rockets on the interstate, and blow them away with four doors of german precision. I put a wiper blade on it, one tire, changed the oil, and put a $12 part in the engine. I sold it for double what I paid for it. Yeah, I buy, and drive beaters, I could list ten more cars with the same results. When I'm done with them, they either go to the junkyard, or I sell them for more than I paid for them. For what some people pay per mile, they could ride in a cab, for me, for what I pay per mile, the bus is more expensive. With the money I save, I can buy camera gear, and afford to pay models. I don't pay for cars, I pay for models, who don't mind a guy who drives a beater, If they'd rather do TFP for a guy with a nice car, just remember, You're paying for his car, my models aren't. Feb 12 11 02:41 pm Link Did you want the last 3 before now? Because I currently own four: * 2006 Vespa LX150 * 1986 BMW 325 * 1974 Vespa 90 * Miyata bicycle (year unknown) * Also sometimes drive (not own) a 90-something Toyota station wagon.
