Here's practically the only one I've done any serious work with. Basic edits, but I had a great image to begin with. https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/28545435 Jul 05 12 11:16 am Link Hacklight wrote: We all started somewhere, nice edit/ nice work. Jul 12 12 10:54 am Link Here's what I think is probably my best editing work on one of the shots from my most recent shoot. Question: does anyone else kinda wonder if it's a betrayal of the model's trust to post images like this publicly? I mean, showing what they looked like before the shots were edited (in the case of this model, his rather noticeable acne)? Or am I just over-analyzing this? Jul 26 12 10:09 am Link Zorka wrote: That's a fair comment, however I think you're drawing an assumption that every photo needs to look a particular way in order to be considered "acceptable". Such thinking leaves no room for artistic freedom or interpretation of the subject. For this boudoir image, I wanted the feeling to be warm and inviting...which I think the standard hot lights did an excellent job of portraying. If it's too much, to the point where it seems like a mistake or an oversight on my part, then that's probably something I should be aware of, so thank you. Jul 26 12 10:44 am Link Jul 28 12 07:00 pm Link This is not my property Credits to Original photographer Jul 30 12 10:31 am Link Where to start? First touched up the original photo and burned it good. Took a sunset photo I took a few weeks ago and added it to a lake photo I took of my kids, erased the kids ,burned it all and cloned the sky over the water with a low transparency to add some color to the water. Wasn't getting up ay 4am to shoot a male model on a dock at sunrise so had my wife stand on the truck bumper in the alley to take my photo doing the ol'days heel click and darkened that and added it to the dock. Still didn't have enough of a cabin feel so took and added the fish mount on the wall as well. I'm a jack of all trades, master of none. I shot and edited these myself. I'm self taught and just starting with lots to learn, obviously, but here io of my recent ones On this one I did the standard skin softening, hair shining, eye brightening. I blurred the background marginally in order to isolate the subject more and create less distraction. The purpose of the shoot was the jewelry, so I popped it in high pass.
