MUAH KISSES May 29 11 11:58 am Link I am so glad those with negative feelings stayed FAR AWAY! It was a wonderful, friendly, professional day! I have more years experience in photographing models than probably anyone on MM or this thread. It was one of the most rewarding and enjoyable shoots I have ever had and I have had shoots in Europe, Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii, most of the USA, the Near East and Asia. I had never participated in a group shoot before (other than PPA shoots) but decided to do it this time frankly because I have found photographers in the Northwest less friendly than any where else I have worked. I have written to several over the past two years trying to network and asking for information since I was new to the area. Not one ever responded to me. I gained more useful information in one day than I have been able to get in two years and met a lot of nice people. From the beginning I had no doubt that it was going to be a good shoot. It was great for professional networking. The models were fantastic, so much beauty and talent in one place... awesome! I hate letting the cat out of the bag about how good the whole 8 hour day was because the next one will have so many more photographers. This one was great. There was a good balance between photographers and models. I did not put my camera down for over 8 hours and my arm began to cramp.... lol! Everyone behaved in a professional and polite manner. One event flowed smoothly into the next. Jasmine deserves a great big hug and round of applause. This event could not have been better. I am so happy to get to know more photographers in the area and to become acquainted with so many lovely models in one event. This was like compacting months into one day. It was well worth the investment. When is the next event? Ron May 30 11 09:07 am Link |
