Digital Art of The Day Contest is managed by FredsFotos and Muse Artist ![]() May 01 11 11:55 am Link ![]() "Sylar's Little Bitch." The original picture of me was taken by Dave Christie, I did all of the editing through photoshop. I thinned myself out, added hair, placed in energy spheres, created robotics on my arms and hands (all by hand). I also had to do some light painting to give a glowing wave effect that I imagine would come off of something highly radiated or high amounts of energy. May 01 11 01:42 pm Link ![]() I wanted to create a cartoon type effect and give the image a boost of colour. A funky disco glitter Ball background was added and then Various filters (including High Pass, Smart Sharpen, Gradient Mapping, Surface Blur, Diffuse, Motion Blur) were used to digitally paint the model. Hair , Lips & glasses colour was then changed and then Saturation was boosted to create the final image. Photo Credit: Aaron Downing MM#73957 EDIT: all done with Photoshop CS4 May 01 11 03:08 pm Link ![]() Model was shot in chromakey leaning against a green stool. The Corvette was a stock image. Once I had Liz in the right position and lit correctly, I mirrored the image and blurred it to give me the reflection on the floor. I then used the lasso tool, feathered, and then filled with clouds to give me the fog. I added some shiny spots to the car and that was that an added some shadow where she was leaning against it. A little dodging and burning to finish it up. done in CS5.
