Anybody watch this show?

I'm a big Bourdain fan, he's an ass but I like his shows

But this layover show is just terrible
I saw the previews and LOVED the concept, loved it
36 hours in a major city...what to do...yes please!

But whoever is putting this together is ridiculous
They just had a show on New York

New...Fucking...York right? How many EXCEPTIONALLY cool things can you see in 36 hours?

Here's what he suggests...

Hotel bar - Dead empty - place does not get many guests but he likes the wallpaper...what? Really? You are doing a show about NEW FUCKING YORK CITY and this is the best you can suggest?
Second Hotel bar - to have a hamburger
College Bookstore
Subway Inn - Dive bar
Crif Dogs - Hot Dog joint
PDT - Bar that he admits YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO GO INTO
Yakiniku Takashi - Japanese Restaurant about the only reasonable suggestion on the show
M. Wells - Diner. Not just a diner...a diner across the bridge in Brooklyn...and a diner that is now CLOSED
The Big Gay Ice Cream Truck - Food Truck - Meh...not a horrible choice, but really the best you can do in New York?
High Line Park - Park - The first truly reasonable suggestion of the show
Chef Restaurant Supply - Miscellaneous Shop - We have MUCH larger restaurant supply warehouses here in St. Petersburg and Tampa
Baohaus - Asian Restaurant
Tammany Hall - Music Venue
Papaya King - Hot Dog Joint - Really the only place I might think about going that he went to

He had 36 hours and went to some of the most ridiculous places in that city...seriously....why not come up with a reasonable show about places that REAL PEOPLE would want to go if they had a layover?

The show just sucks

I like Bourdain too but sometimes he tries too hard to be obscure.

I love the show. Problem is, when I watch it I drink too much. Have to try to keep up with him.

I think years of tiny amounts of blow fish venom have affected his mind.

You clearly do not know New York.

I usually jest get stinkin' drunk in the airport bar, and sleep through the next flight  .  .  .
