ImpactFoto wrote: Looks interesting... is the cruise all-inclusive? Unlike some other cruiseboat photoshoots out there... YES it is! You purchase your ticket and your invited models ticket... EVERYTHING else is included... all food and all lodging for 7 days. If you're looking for 'an all inclusive cruiseboat photoshoot'... make SURE you're buying your tickets DIRECTILY from the cruiselines or a discount ticket vendor... NOT from some promotor who has the ability to jackup your attendance rate for their financial gain. If you insist on drinking like a fish at over a dozen bars on the boat... THAT is not included... BUT... you're gonna wanna remain somewhat sober during this cruise cause you're looking at SIX photoshoots in 7 days... BUT... you will have plenty of party time available in the 4 nightclubs on the ship... just incase you're a sparatic 'freak off the leash' like me... ![lol](//assets.modelmayhem.com/images/smilies/lol.png)

![https://i40.tinypic.com/359j0wy.jpg]() OK, now I understand, so I am going to start playing Lotto. I want all the models that want sponsors on board, but if other photogs do not jump in, it will be too much dinero. Not to mention what it will do to my blood pressure...

Mexico is getting awfully sketchy these days... heard some pretty scary Puerto Vallarta horror stories lately, involving people that have gone ashore from cruises.

Mexico is getting awfully sketchy these days... heard some pretty scary Puerto Vallarta horror stories lately, involving people that have gone ashore from cruises. Yeah... and that scary thing you heard about that happened a few months back... it was a small bus excursion of cruiseboat passengers that went ashore and traveled to a VERY REMOTE location far away from the security of the Mexican Police Enforcement (the Federales). We will NOT be voyaging to any far away, remote location... AND... you can bet that after that incident that transpired a few months back... a heightened level of security is now even more evident for cruiseboat passengers that tour Puerto Vallarta. The law enforcement and governing officals of PV know that cruiseboat tourists spend LOADS OF MONEY in that town when those ships dock... and they ARE NOT going to risk the loss of all the revenue that cruiseboat tourism brings. One beach location we are using is literally 'walking distance' from the cruiseship (Divorce Beach/Pelican Beach)... while the other is a short drive thru downtown Puerto Vallarta to Conchas Chinas Beach. I've shot at both of these locations before (within the last few years) and have never encountered problems before... ![wink](//assets.modelmayhem.com/images/smilies/wink.png)

I just checked and the Mega Lotto is 290 Million. If I win not only will I pay for all the models and upgrade to suites but after we get back I will set up the most amazing shoot yet. I have had an idea for almost a year that would blow everyone away and surely would be the best shoot for both models and photographers.

We're gonna be contacting him again for his assistance back to Conchas Chinas Beach as he picked the PERFECT spot for us to shoot at last time we were there... ![borat](//assets.modelmayhem.com/images/smilies/borat.gif)

Mexico is getting awfully sketchy these days... heard some pretty scary Puerto Vallarta horror stories lately, involving people that have gone ashore from cruises. I had all the same concerns when I considered going on the cruise last September, will the model be a no show, how will the rooms be handled, is Mexico safe. Model was no problem, my first choice changed her mind, I just found another who wanted to go. (and there are a ton on this thread already who want to go) Room arrangements, we are adults, some models will room with the photog, some may want to switch rooms and be with another model. And in Ensenada, me and 4 of the models rented a car and drove north to Rosarito Beach, about an hour drive. The town was deserted, imagine one lonely photographer with 4 smoking hot models waking around in the middle of the day. Got some cat calls, got lots of compliments. Got in our car and drove back to the hotel for our afternoon shoot. No hassles, no worries, no fear.
Don't think too much, ask for vacation, lay down a deposit, and get on board. This is from that same day at the hotel.

Got in our car and drove back to the hotel for our afternoon shoot. No hassles, no worries, no fear. Hi Paul... yeah, I've driven to Rosarito from San Diego in years past, and also used to go clubbing in Tijuana practically every weekend. Those were different times and me being a young guy in my 20's at the time made me a lot more carefree, too. Concerns me to go anywhere where you can get shaken down by the law enforcement (has happened to me), and running around with all the gear that we do makes us that much more of a target. Obviously more people have great times down there than have problems, even still, but that doesn't mean I doesn't make sense to use common sense and try to take precautions, if possible. All it would take is for one photog to get all his gear stolen, and neither the cruise line nor the event organizer would step up to make that right, not to mention if God forbid something much worse happens to one of the models down there. Not trying to be all doom and gloom, just reminding everyone to use common sense, watch each others' backs, and definitely not drink too much is great advice! ; ) -T-
