The major difference between the US military and other world militaries is that the US doesn't recognize World/International courts. Meaning that they are accountable to no one.

If England gets mad a Germany for winning the world cup and lobs a gas shell at Munich. The PM is gonna be in dutch with the UN. If a African warlord mass genocides half his country the UN can take him to Trail and get justice for those he killed.

However if the US president doesn't like that the Pesh of Indonisa didn't laugh at his fart joke and the US goes in a bombs the place and takes out two hospitals and a church, it doesn't matter because the US doesn't recognize the International courts, and said President is considered a hero for the deaths of innocent civilians.

You are not holding anyone accountable at all - you're having an opinion. That doens't hold anyone accountable.
