Some models have no problem with open leg shots in some variation of nude photos, but others will not, why is that?

Perhaps some don't wish to be a cover girl for Gynecological Quarterly?

I cannot even wrap my head around why anyone would ask this question.

I refuse to spread my legs while clothed. And I've been asked to. People don't want things misconstrued.

There are models, and photographers, who are OK with, and not OK with, pretty much everything you can think of.  Which is to be expected.

Just find out what works for the model, and either adjust your objectives, or choose another model.

Some llamas are OK with nudes, others are not.
Some llamas are OK with topless, others are not.
Some llamas are OK with lingerie, others are not.

Everyone has a different comfort level.

There are so many variables; even with nudes; angles, shadows, expressions, etc.

Same with clothed.  But, you're 17; I'd definitely err on the side of caution / modesty.

That said, this model has her legs apart, and It wouldn't faze me to shoot this with a 17 year old.

spreads aren't exactly considered artistic  or glamour nudes. It is a dumb question.

Well, that pose is okay. It's just a pose smile It's not squatting down on the ground, legs open towards the camera big_smile Then they said I wasn't edgy enough - lol

Everybody has different comfort levels, nobody should be pushed to anything they don't want. It just makes for an uneasy picture smile I agree

most of the nude models i've worked with do what are called "classy" nudes. i think that for the most part you need to look for one of the erotic nude types if you want to do leg spreads and hooha closeups. maybe if you do artistic nudes (vs. glamour) some more models will go for it. but don't assume a nude model will because a lot won't. the shot can be full nude but it can't emphasize the hooha.

on zivity if a set has too much hooha they will throw out some of pictures. especially if there's visible lubrication.

Some people like trucks, and some people prefer ponies. What's up with that?

It's called personal preference, get over it.

Who says that "spreads aren't exactly considered artistic  or glamour nudes"?  I have seen some artistic and glamour nude  images where the models legs are spread that are very beautifully done.  I can think of one right now by model MoRina (MM #899123) that is a spread and is very beautiful!

I also personally do not think it is a Dumb question.

First of all, the OP said open leg, not spreads. Perhaps he meant that, but actually didn't say that.

Secondly,I disagree with your statement. I have seen some incredibly artistic, amazing images that are open leg shots.

Granted - many aren't. But they can be.

We don't all aspire to be in Hustler.

I have no problem with open leg shots that are part of an overall artistic photo.  But cooter shots with no artistic merit are not my thing.  It does seem difficult for some people to understand that because I am willing to to this (in fact, the pose was my idea) that all open leg shots are not equivalent:

If we didn't have this, I'd be at a movie - eating popcorn with LOTS of extra butter.

And "open leg" isn't necessarily "spreads."  The question vovers such a wide range of things that it's nearly meaningless.

You're walking a high tightwire of semantics.

So......what IYHO is the difference that isn't semantics?
