I will let you chose but keep these things in mind:

There are thousands of avatars on MM. So we go over most of them very fast. Only those that stand out in under 1 second get more views and therefore will cause people to see you port more frequently. So they are the "rules"

1. Red. people always notice red. We are wired that way
2. clean lines. The more "stuff" in your photo the less you will stand out and be noticed
3. brighter colors
4. If using a B/W photo, use one that has higher contrast.
5. attractive body parts stand out......for obvious reasons.......cleavage, legs, curves, eyes all will make people stop and look
6. close the better. Don't make yourself small in the photo. Make yourself closer and bigger
7. vertical is usually better......not horizontal photo orientation

so with those rules which one will you choose?

Thank you so much for the tips.

from what you said I think this one is good:

Or if B/W then this:

It is not bad, but I see 2 others in your port that work much better. This is one of them

I really enjoy your work and fabulous shots. But I doubt if this current avatar will want me see more of your work

Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to look.  I changed my avatar to a different shot that I hope is a more appropriate choice for an avatar.

I would say this one has more "pop" than the last. I have a shoot in a couple weeks and I am going to use some of your shots as inspiration. Hope that is ok with you.....

about a 50/50 chance. It would depend. You have about 3 or 4 others that would have a much better chance of getting me to see more of your port

Nice thread and very interesting!

I wanted to use Cate but the only thing focused was her eyes and teeth, so Nicole was used.

no

and if you can crop it so most of the clutter is gone.....and we really get to see your gorgeous legs, then I would choose this one

no. too drab and no pop with a muddled background to be an eye-catching avatar. IMO this one is much better for an avi

I am honored!  I would love to see what you do with them.  Would you mind sending a pm if you add any to your port?  I have no doubt you will take the concept and do it even better!

Almost every shot I have done was inspired by something I saw someone else do and I put my own twist on it.

Hmmm. Interesting concept marketing yourself as maternity. Does that mean you are always pregnant? I've know some women like that......ouch!

Anyway, I might look at your port just because the maternity thing is different. So i would say 50/50 from what I see so far
