I don't think this is a very good shot- busy back ground and distracting couch.If you shot more looking down it would be better as it stands now - arent his eyes out of focus?  The jeans area is too prominent- were you trying for some kind of play girl shot?  Then maybe a hand on his belt,  The light is too flat as well.  There is no mystery in the pic- perhaps with some indirect lighting you would get some interesting shadows.
