The first time was when there were no stalking laws and the police literally looked me in the eyes and said, " You will have to be hospitalized or dead before we can do anything. " this while my stalker was on my front lawn threatening me, was on probation for something else and the phone lines had been tapped by the police to get the death threats and still they did nothing. I had to change high schools multiple times and move out of my city. And that was just the first time. It's an absolutely incredibly terrifying experience to be stalked, especially long term. Kept forgetting where she lived, what kind of car she drove, where she worked, and I was too lazy to write any emails. Interfered with things I had to do from day to day. Never was good a being creepy, so I gave up a long time ago.
