Can I just vote for myself and get it over with?  OP one thing you might want to take into consideration is the increase in popularity of the retro pin up look over the last several years. This is a look that is not as effectively portrayed by less curvy body types. I agree with everyone who said that slim & curvy are not mutually exclusive definitions. I will be honest... I'm not picky when I'm viewing an attractive woman but a noticeable hourglass figure will wow me every time (especially if it's natural) and then the size of said hourglass is virtually an afterthought. Just my personal opinion.

However, if you take a look at the Wikipedia definition, (they have sources to back it up!) you will find that couture itself is now much wider defined ("Couture" means dressmaking, sewing, or needlework[1]) than the original narrow set of definition. Except for "Haute Couture" itself of course!
So... having a Couture Fashion Week (not a "Haute Couture Fashion Week"), does not conflict with the realities and definitions of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, or the rest of the fashion world!

We love to critique what we want/can't have or find intimidating to us. It's in our nature and we do it even at a subconscious level.
I even know myself that I have an obsession with full breasted women because yes they're amazing to look at but I've always desired that for myself. I envy it.

i recently worked with a model for the 2nd time and since the first time she had gained something like 20-30 pounds and i quite appreciated the newfound curves. maybe it depends on whether you do mostly art stuff or glamour stuff. and whatever the poll question my vote is for kate upton
