I need some comments on my portfolio so far. I would love some detailed advice on what works and what doesn't for my photos. Thank you MM

I like this. It's my style. I'm not overly fond of the pose specifically

This has a funky skin tone from what I can tell. Were gels used here? There's like a red overtone or something. And I done't like the composition. You're in the center of the frame.

A very nice image but a little to much head tilt.

The rest I have to say unfortunately look over processed. Maybe that's where the odd hues are coming from. In almost all your photos your skin is processed far to much.

Making your face look flat and without detail.

Your poses look somewhat rigid. This can happen in the beginning but with time you learn to relax in front of the camera and become more fluid. Pretend you're in a commercial or something, flirt and keep moving! From my experience a photog loves (and it looks great in photos) when you just keep moving from one pose to next, and don't be afraid to be a little funky as this will help you develop your style and come out of your comfort zone. I agree with the above that some of these look a bit overprocessed but message photogs in your area who have high quality images in their port and see if they'll shoot tfp with you. Just have fun at your shoot and even ask for some music if it helps you tongue Otherwise, you're beautiful and you've got the eye-camera stare down so you'll be great in no time. Good luck! smile

thanks for all the great advice. I defeinately understand where you are both coming from and thanks so much for the time you took to check out my port. I love the feedback because at times especially when your just starting its hard to know exactly how to critique yourself. Thanks for the help.

The cleavage works, the smile works the red hair and complection works.  The wardrobe is bad, the photography is bad.  The top row looks awful- makes you look kinda of squat.  If you arent lean then go more commercial- smiles and life style shots.  But this is MM so to make money take off the top, if that doesnt go against your beliefs.

best
