So I'm 25, I chopped off all my hair (now have a faux hawk), added a large tattoo on my body, and I am now being told I'm going through a mid-life crises.

Not taking it seriously, but has anyone else just said f*** it and made some drastic changes in their lives?

Well...I'm almost twice your age...have grown my hair from 1/2" long to longer than it has ever been well down past my shoulders...longer than even when I was your age and had it long...LOL!

Bought a couple convertibles...one for the wife & one for me.

No tattoos though.

Ah, the mid-life crisis convertible purchase. I'd like an Audi R-8, but I'm afraid I'd have to live in it.

Nice choice of a cool ride...could not afford that either.

But you could pick up an older well maintained inexpensive low mileage convertible for cheap...like a '93 Miata (wife's car) or like my '90 Mercedes 300SL. 
Currently looking to replace the Miata with a well maintained used Mustang GT Conv. for her...and replacing the Benz with a 1960's car.
