Hello,
Hope you're doing good! It was nice hearing back from you as regard
the request for the available opportunity to be among the models that
will shoot for the maiden edition of [blank] MAGAZINE (USA). I spoke to
the director agent and he had instruct me to direct all your contact
information to him without no delay which means you have been granted
this great opportunity to be among the competing models that will be
used for the front page of the magazine and as a sole collector to
attract customers in the United States.

I'm writing now to update you with the date, time and location of
the photo shoot and it's being highlighted below...

the shoot will hold in a rented studio very close to the hotel because
the hotel hasn't been fully confirmed, negotiation is still on)

and you can come along with anybody of your choice on the day of the
gig :- your mom, dad, friend, body-guard or anybody so that you could
feel more comfortable and relaxed.

JOB DETAILS : Its a photo shoot, you have 7 different fashion outfits
to cover, which would be provided by the wardrobe stylist on the day
of the shooting, It’s a day job (3hrs precisely) and wouldn't take
more than that.

Clothing materials.

COMPENSATION : Report reaching me also have it that the (SPONSORS)

participating models during the week. The check will cover your
upfront payment of $400 and the rest shall be made available to the
wardrobe stylist who shall in turn be using the funds to make payment
for the necessary outfits that will be used during the shoot. You will
be paid the balance of $800 immediately after the completion of the
shoot meaning that you would be earning $1,200 overall.

ACCOMMODATION : There will be free meal and accommodation for you and your escort. The company shall provide accommodation for models that will be traveling from long distance.

All makeup will be taken care of in the studio. You will be
connected with the wardrobe stylist details as soon as the paycheck is

understood. I'll keep you updated with the full arrangement as soon as

Yep, this is definitely a scam. Drop all correspondence with them immediately.

They will send you a check and ask you to write a check from your account to cover the wardrobe stylist. In a few days, their check will bounce and you will be on the hook for the entire amount you sent out.

It's very simple. If someone offers you money or fame, it's a scam.

99% of the time you see this in a correspondence it's a SCAM 100% :
"SHOOT LOCATION : Hotel [blank]
[street address], Los Angeles, CA 90077 (Its likely
the shoot will hold in a rented studio very close to the hotel because
the hotel hasn't been fully confirmed, negotiation is still on) "

Why would they trust you, an internet stranger, with $2,050 of their money.  Why wouldn't they just send the money directly to the wardrobe stylist?
