"I'm new at this, please tell me if this is a scam
Hello, Hope you're doing good! It was nice hearing back from you as regard the request for the available opportunity to be among the models that will shoot for the maiden edition of [blank] MAGAZINE (USA). I spoke to the director agent and he had instruct me to direct all your contact information to him without no delay which means you have been granted this great opportunity to be among the competing models that will be used for the front page of the magazine and as a sole collector to attract customers in the United States. I'm writing now to update you with the date, time and location of the photo shoot and it's being highlighted below... SHOOT LOCATION : Hotel [blank] [street address], Los Angeles, CA 90077 (Its likely the shoot will hold in a rented studio very close to the hotel because the hotel hasn't been fully confirmed, negotiation is still on) SHOOT DATES : [month] 8th / 9th, 2013 Time : 11.00am - 2.00pm Your services will only be needed for 3hrs, you'll have to pick a date that will be most convenient for you to do the shoot between [month] 8th / 9th, 2013. All make up will be taken care of in the studio and you can come along with anybody of your choice on the day of the gig :- your mom, dad, friend, body-guard or anybody so that you could feel more comfortable and relaxed. JOB DETAILS : Its a photo shoot, you have 7 different fashion outfits to cover, which would be provided by the wardrobe stylist on the day of the shooting, It’s a day job (3hrs precisely) and wouldn't take more than that. Types of cloths : Jeans, Pants and Jackets, Evening wears (Ladies), Clothing materials. COMPENSATION : Report reaching me also have it that the (SPONSORS) shall be mailing out a check payment of $2,450 to all the participating models during the week. The check will cover your upfront payment of $400 and the rest shall be made available to the wardrobe stylist who shall in turn be using the funds to make payment for the necessary outfits that will be used during the shoot. You will be paid the balance of $800 immediately after the completion of the shoot meaning that you would be earning $1,200 overall. ACCOMMODATION : There will be free meal and accommodation for you and your escort. The company shall provide accommodation for models that will be traveling from long distance. All makeup will be taken care of in the studio. You will be connected with the wardrobe stylist details as soon as the paycheck is mailed out to you during the week. This is the latest update as at now and i hope it's perfectly understood. I'll keep you updated with the full arrangement as soon as we hear from the sponsors just keep in touch closely with your email. I look forward to reading back from you ASAP clearly indicating the date that you'll be available to do the shoot. Please go to your mystuff page and find this graphic and click on it; Then watch the video and read the article. Please do some reading. The best way to avoid being scammed is to learn how to recognize them. That information has been there for a long time, and if you had taken a few minutes to read it you would have almost immediately recognized this for the scam it is.
