What are your favorite setting powders? I'm almost out of my MUFE HD and wanted to try something new.

I like the Mac MSF or graftobian as some good hd setting powder it comes in a palette.

Another vote for Laura Mercier. It's called (IIRC) "Translucent Setting Powder" and it is fantastic. Comes in loose form (at least that's how mine is). For on set touch-ups, I use MAC Prep&Prime Transparent Pressed in a compact.

Ben Nye's loose powders are lovely and can't be beat on price. Camera Ready Cosmetics makes a pressed, color free blot powder that is one of the best I've used.  I find carrying these allows for a more sharply edited kit.

I use a silica based powder be it MUFE HD, Temptu etc if I'm setting a silicone foundation.  If you set with a translucent powder you lose the 20% reflective property of a silicone foundation.

For setting an area matte I like Ben Nye in Banana for most light to medium skin tones, Sienna for warm darker skin tones or the Ben Nye white translucent for under the eye brightness to set the concealer.

I agree with the Ben nye loose I got it in banana and white powder!! I want to get the cameo and sienna as well!!

I'm a fan of Ben Nye neutral set translucent... use it on cream based foundations (RCMA)...

Thanks for the heads up on Silicone based powders... I primarily airbrush TEMPTU S/B now... haven't been using translucent for precisely the aforementioned reason... it kind of suppresses the dewy finish...

Guess I will be picking up some Invisible Difference
will try "Banane"  sadly just like their concealer wheel they really don't offer a full spectrum for women of color...  (in my humble estimation)

Nars Light Reflecting setting powder is the bomb if you like the glow but not the shine!

Otherwise, i like the Tarte Smooth Operator and the Givenchy Le Prisme Visage Mat (this one is absolutely gorgeous)
