I read a really good article the other day that talked about the way we equate sex to an escalator, and how we somehow wound up viewing X sex act as less sex than Y sex act, the bases model, and all that. Basically about how we're always trying to one-up our last sex with the next sex because sex is a ladder to be constantly climbed and you need to continue going up and obtaining something more. Putting more value on one type of sex act than another.

Which, y'know, when you're twenty something and have had all sorts of sex with all sorts of people in all sorts of scenarios, you kinda wonder what's left, what are you supposed to do next to continue up the sex ladder, and what happens when those things don't appeal to you?
