Ask the photographers you like, you'd be surprised how open many of the big names are.

I am not undermining your work, you are one of the best retouchers in the world, and off course they won't send her editorial stuff. And I don't think Steven Meisel or Solve Sundsbo will send her anything but a thanks, but there ARE MANY who will, simply because it was a test, or a non-commissioned shoot and they want it retouched for one reason or other.

Think about it this way, you are one of the most prominent retouchers in the world, yet here you are talking to and helping amateurs and people who are learning. It's the exceptions that break the rule. smile

The reason I was saying "don't think so" is because you stated "big names".. trust me the OP level (no disrespect to u :-)) is not on a level to access these type of photographers, yeah you are right that some photographers are open to TF but not the big boys out there...

Exactly!

Also, many admire other kinds of photography. I get that you and me are fashion obsessed, but not everyone is, and many consider good quality "everyday" photographers to be exceptional.

P.S. Why isn't there a "Like" button around here somewhere. big_smile big_smile big_smile
