This will be brutal. If you are easily hurt or offended, please do not read on.

No list for you. Your portfolio is just snapshots, your posing is dull and uninspired and you have little variety in your expressions.

This does not mean you do not have potential. You have confidence and enthusiasm, which are very important in any creative career. I would scrap 90% of your portfolio and start over, working in a variety of styles with pros - even if you have to pay rates to get yourself started. Unless, of course, you are happy doing what are you doing and with the style you have, because at the end of the day your opinion is the only one that matters smile

Your portfolio is lovely - I listed one of your shots. However, I'd like to see some OTT and avant garde makeup before I put you on the 'greatest makeup artists' list. I loved you flower work - definitely one to watch!

No list yet, Misty! You are a very beautiful woman with a figure to die for, but how many pictures of you on a bed do we need to see in your portfolio?

I'd like to see you branch out into some different styles, and maybe work with a few different HS and MUAs to vary your look a little. Loads of potential, keep going!

No list yet - your port is very lovely glamour, but let down in a couple of places by excessive skin smoothing and a lack of original posing or concepts. It is difficult to break out of the mold in glamour, but I think you can do better smile

No list for you - yet. Your portfolio is too uneven for me o comment on your skill level. Some of your shots are beautiful, with real depth of colour and beautiful framing. Some of your shots are a little run of the mill, and made dull by comparison. Be brutal with a clear out!

I have no qualifications to talk on pastels, nor o I have a list for artists because there are so few of hem here (sadly) however, I will say that I have often checked your profile after seeing you in the forums, and find your work very lovely - there is an innocence to them that makes them omen ow comforting.

Sorry to hear that you do not have a list for artists, but thank you for the nice compliment!
I too have checked  your out your port a few times (same reason) and if you ever come across to the States, I would love to paint you! Love your hair, "reds" are my favorite models!

Not yet. You have a great physique but no real portfolio to speak of yet - just shots somewhere between snapshots and pro pictures with very little variance in pose or expression. You obviously put a lot of work into your body - use some of that energy to research male models who inspire you, and practice your posing with their influence. Keep going smile

Hi! smile
Another portfolio with a real disjointed feel to it. This is really quite lovely -http://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/33152151

The light here is spectacular - https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/18832824

This is interesting and conceptual - https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/24012283

But I can't find a middle ground with you. If you had shown me those three shots separately, I would never have guessed they were work from the same photographer. I'd like to see yoube honest with yourself about the weak shots you have and get rid of them, and then think about where you want to take your images and shoot towards that goal.

Evie, I much appreciate the time and effort you put in reviewing my port and your frankness. True, my work is not unified, I just enjoy shooting different concepts and in different styles.

By the way, you incorrectly attributed this image to me

Listed, but not greatest - you can do better. There are some flashes of brilliance in your port and I won't be satisfied until you're blinding us with them.

Shoot with Paige. You two would make beautiful images together.

Thanks so much.  I'm trying to make more unique images, but I have a way to go.

I do agree that Paige would be wonderful to make some art with.  I just have to find a way to make it happen.

Your work is technically beautiful, and a real breath of fresh air on a site with many a humdrum nude. However, I'm not going to list you yet. I think you can do better - once or twice, your images really told a story, and it really engaged me! But once I saw you could do that, I wanted them all to be as powerful.

Interesting.....I could do an entire conversation on that topic. smile

Actually I already have with a couple folks whose opinion I value.
