I agree, but the I think the thread you are referring to was a thread about implied modeling not implied nudes. Some people just didn't understand or couldn't read the OP so it got moved to general industry from OT.

I'm not suggesting (most of) the models here "suffer" from this "condition", but I believe it really occurs.  Note that modeling is not what would consider using one's looks to get by on. 

Also most of the models I have met, have had very pleasant personalities.  I've never had any hint of underdeveloped personal character in the female models I've worked with.
