I used Photoshop then Lightroom for post production. I'm more familiar with using Lightroom on a daily basis. I am trying to gain more skills to be able to become an actual retoucher for my own photographs as well as others.
This is my 3rd time retouching. I downloaded the image on MM sample forum here https://www.modelmayhem.com/po.php?thread_id=910400.

It's over saturated and green doesn't belong to the image.

Center highlights blow out detail in center, and too much sharpness added.

I don't think it's over blown or over saturated (given the composition that this is somewhat pop art-ish)... but only the blues in the background seem a bit too strong, I recommend desaturating the blues in the background just a little bit.

Agree with the rest!! I would prefer something closer to the original image but all depends on what you were trying to achieve.

Less is more!!

First decide on your end result, Fashion? Portrait? Street? etc. then proceed to retouch, this will ensure that we instantly know what your trying to achieve because right now it reminds me of Instagram images, practice makes perfect;-)

The image is too busy to start with and no matter what you do, that background is always going to be a distraction along with that striped shirt.
